Is today really the last day of August?  Where has the summer gone?   

Up at 5:30 and out the door at 6. But not before spraying our lavender oil all over myself to keep the black flies away. Did you know lavender oil is a natural insect repellent?

Did you know lavender oil is a natural insect repellent? First thing I do every morning is apply it to ward off the bees, wasps and all the other pollinators that get up early to work in the garden with me.
